Apparently they are no longer allowing 3rd party hosting unless you pony up for their 500 plan, which is a bargain at $400 a year. I signed up for imgur which seems to be a decent alternative.

Was gonna ask about this. Had a fishing report all ready to go and then couldn't get my pics loaded. Dang photobucket. I'll e-mail them to you.

I use flickr, and to the best of my knowledge it isn't going to be paid anytime soon. I believe they have other means of monetization. The other option that I can think of would be instagram and embed the shared link.

As with most things that get taken away on the internet, there now seems to be a fix for this...

Google Chrome:

Click on the three dots on the right side of the screen;
A drop down should appear;
Hover over "More Tools";
When the next drop down appears, click on "Extensions";
Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get More Extensions";
In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix";
Click "Enter";
Click the "Install";
Once the install is complete you should be able to see Photobucket linked photos again.

FireFox:

Click the three bars at the top right of your screen;
Click "Add Ons";
Click in the search box and search "photobucket hotlink" ... Photobucket Hotlink should be the first result in the list that's generated;
Click install;
Reload the forum.

Thanks Eli. Installed and clicked on page 62 of the fishing reports...and there was a young strapping Brenden holding a smallie again.
